Southwest Minnesota Technical Skills Challenge
For seven years,
the Southwest Minnesota Technical Skills Challenge has brought 9-12 grade
students together to compete in exciting events to test their skills and
creativity. Once again industry professionals and instructors from
post-secondary training programs at Minnesota West Community and Technical
College have developed an interesting and challenging competition. Students
will have the opportunity to compete as individuals or teams, depending on the
events they choose.
With the
expansion of the Minnesota West Carl Perkins Consortium, we’ve added a second
event site for your convenience. This year’s events are scheduled for
Friday, April 24 at the Minnesota West- Jackson Campus and Thursday, April 30 at
the Minnesota West- Granite Falls Campus. All competitions will be held at both
campuses.
